Christi was born and raised as a small town country girl from Melrose, NM (pop. 700.) Blessed with a natural gift for music, she has played piano for 14 years, guitar for 5, and clarinet for 4 but admits she should probably practice more these days... At 16, she was hired at Broadcast Entertainment Corp. She then decided to graduate highschool early to work fulltime hosting her own show from 9-1 on rock station 98.3 KICA FM and afternoon show host on country station 102.3 KKYC FM out of Clovis, New Mexico. Before leaving she held the positions of Music Director of KICA-FM and Production Director of the 5 stations within the company. While there, she met Eric Butler who eventually introduced her to the KRST crew here in Albuquerque. After 6 years with Broadcast Entertainment, she decided to move the the big city (well, its was big for her) to continue her career behind the mic. After living here a year, she admits she's still a little scared of the Interstates. (They didnt even have stop lights in the town where she grew up!)
