Mountain Rails Live

The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad located in Alamosa, Colorado hosts its 7th season of Mountain Rails Live, a series of western folk concerts performed at the summit of LaVeta Pass in the Southern Rockies of Colorado. Ride in restored vintage rail cars taking in the sights and sounds of the mountains as guests make their way to Fir Station – a natural amphitheater powered completely by wind and solar energy and accessible only by train. Craft beers and locally-sourced BBQ lunches are available on site.

Concerts are held Saturdays and Sundays June 14th through September 14th with a special, multi-day festival Independence Day Weekend, The Americana Music Festival. This special event is features camping, multiple stages with performances by local acts, artisan vendors, and activities for kids!
